“It gets worse before it gets better”

I hate that saying, why does it have to get worse at all? 😜 but a good reminder to ‘stay the course’ ‘keep grinding’ ‘trust the process’ blah blah blah but hey it’s true lol.

After posting several rounds above my handicap and targets I still tried to stay positive knowing I was hitting some good drives, chips and putts throughout it.

60 shots later the @trackmangolf combine says I should be a 6 handicap. Scratching my head now cause I’m double that and my handicap has gone UP since last year yet I feel I’m hitting it better! That’s golf for ya!
As many have said though, “It gets worse before it gets better” so I’m going to stick with the advice from Dori and “just keep swimming”

Going back to 2006 when the West (Red Team) won the Newport Cup over the East (Blue Team) 13 1/2 to 10 1/2

Probably my only real contribution to the team other than some haved matches was my eagle, the only of the weekend, on the final singles match which netted four Southern Points for the Red Team‼️

About a year or two later I quit playing golf....why?? Cause around the time I became the official photog for a big tournament in Scottsdale and I started to dislike golf ⛳ 💃🏼🍹

Aside from the great golf mates on the trip, I met and flew with Danica Patrick on her way to testing NASCAR and Michael Irvin on his way to Monday Night Football in Phoenix. Some interesting conversations on the flights for sure.

Exploring St Andrews one more time and enjoying a round at The Castle Course before getting the train.

St Andrews is full of rich history and the people there with the mix of tourists was really fun. The woman with Girls Gone Golfing and I really enjoyed their stay here

The Castle Course is loaded with amazing views of St Andrews and the cost I was playing with a 3-club wind, plenty of rain and I was smiling the entire time! Such a great Scottish golf experience.
